Answer

Can you tell me more about the history of Bellevue University?

Bellevue University was founded in 1966, primarily to serve the adult students of the Greater Omaha area and specifically adults serving in the U.S. military at Offutt Air Force Base. The University recognized then that adult students needed flexible, career-oriented degree options. Today, Bellevue University serves adult and traditional students alike from the main campus in Bellevue, Nebraska, 10 additional locations throughout the Midwest, and everywhere online. The main campus features an award-winning auditorium space from which lectures are broadcast online to students around the globe. Students enjoy the works of the University's fine arts majors, and cheer on the Bellevue University Bruins baseball, basketball, softball, soccer, and volleyball teams.
